Zoning Due Diligence is a necessary component of most commercial real estate transactions.

In 2016, the Minimum Standard Detail Requirements for ALTA/NSPS Land Title surveys were revised, and one of the most significant changes affected Table A items 6(a) and 6(b). 

This change removed the responsibility from the surveyor to research zoning requirements and now requires the client to furnish the zoning information to the surveyor in the form of a zoning letter or zoning report.

Our easy to read zoning reports assist the surveyors as well as our clients to ensure the survey properly references the correct zoning information.
